On March 27, 2013, South Africa President Zuma announced the founding of The BRICS Business Council during the meeting of BRICS leaders. The council has 25 members, 5 from each BRICS country. Mr. Wang Wei, Chairman of Sinoma Int., was invited to become one of the first-term Chinese council members. The other four Chinese members are: Li Ruogu, chairman of The Export-Import Bank of China; Chen Zhilie, Chariman of Shenzhen EVOC Intelligent Technology Company Limited; Fu Chengyu, Chairman of SINOPEC; and Wei Jiafu, Chairman of COSCO.
